Brooklyn And Stuff

So we took a little trip to Brooklyn last weekend to meet friends and see the new Brooklyn Bridge Park. I forgot to bring my camera, so I took a few pictures with B's phone. They didn't turn out very well.

And yes, the water really is that dirty.

Anyway, Brooklyn Bridge Park was pretty cool. We saw TONS of babies and pregnant women. Seriously. Swarms. It was ridiculous. And I saw NOT ONE squirrel in the entire park. It is a new park, after all, and all the trees are young so there isn't really a good place to build a squirrel nest (called a drey), but someday this will be prime squirrel property.

There was also a cool metal thing in the sidewalk. I like metal things in the sidewalk.
